Definition: 1. An item in a legal document that says that a particular thing must or must not be done. 2. A group of words that includes a subject and a verb, and forms a sentence or part of a sentence.
Use 'clause' in a sentence:
1. The arbitration clause is indispensable for any contracts.
2. I have no more questions about this clause.
3. This clause is not allowed if the column is specified in the primary key, or in a unique constraint of the table.
4. The SECTION clause as part of the text search criteria identifies the part within the XML document structure where text search shall occur.
5. It turns out that when you get to this clause, one player has won.
